Saxons hit with triple injury for Churchill Cup

England Saxons have ruled three players out of the Saxons EPS ahead of their participation in next month's Churchill Cup due to injury.

London Wasps' Tom Rees has had his right shoulder assessed and the London Wasps and England medical teams have agreed that Tom would benefit from further rehabilitation over the summer, which would give him longer term benefit. Tom will be replaced by Kearnan Myall who plays for Leeds Carnegie.

Stuart Hooper of Bath Rugby has a left toe injury, which he sustained against Leicester Tigers.

Hooper has made good progress from the injury it has been agreed that he would also benefit from a period of rehabilitation and he will not tour. Stuart will be replaced by James Hudson of Newcastle Falcons.

London Irish's David Paice has a quadriceps strain and he has failed to recover in time to tour. A replacement for David will be announced later.
