England Saxons captain Phil Dowson who plays for Northampton Saints has been called-up to the Senior England EPS tour as cover for Hendre Fourie (Leeds Carnegie) who has a right calf injury. Dowson, who was due to captain the Saxons against Russia will instead fly to Australia to meet with Martin Johnson's squad. George Skivington of London Wasps will now captain the Saxons with Andy Saull (Saracens) starting at seven, Brad Barritt (Saracens) will take his place on the bench.
